Carr Lake, Tallahassee, Florida
Carr Lake is a nearly 700-acre lake located off of Meridian Road, just north of Tallahassee, Florida.
Sometimes I swing by Carr Lake to catch golden hour and/or the sunset to relax for a bit. Carr Lake generally retains water even when the water level in nearby Lake Jackson is low.
On this particular summer evening, the clouds were drifting in the wind as a storm approached from the west. A break in the cloud cover near the horizon allowed the last rays of the setting sun to shine through, creating a streak of orange above the horizon that was reflected on the water. A slow camera shutter captured the movement of the blue clouds.
