Landscape Photography

I enjoy getting out and exploring new places in our natural and wild areas and sharing what I find. My landscape photography features locales from throughout Florida and other areas, such as North Carolina and West Virginia. I offer my work on stunning, fine-art wall decor products that will bring visual interest to the walls of any home or office.

Images featured in my landscape photography galleries include:

• Live oak trees, Spanish moss, and canopy roads in Tallahassee, Florida.

• Sunset beach images of Venice, Florida.

• Overlooks and waterfalls in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina.

• Landscapes in and around Lewisburg and the Greenbrier Valley in West Virginia.

• Boats and beaches in and around Carrabelle on Florida’s Forgotten Coast.

• Travel images from the tropical island of Roatan in Honduras.

• Images of Big Cypress National Preserve near Everglades National Park in south Florida.

Print Products and Licensing

Print products of my landscape photography are available for residential or commercial wall decor. I have traditional prints for framing and I have contemporary metal prints which do not require framing. The metal prints are high-gloss, with very vibrant colors, and they float out from the wall.

Licensing of my landscape images is available for editorial use in newspapers, books, and magazines, and is available, in many cases, for commercial use to promote and grow your brand.

Please contact me to license imagery or to purchase products or sizes that are not listed.

I was in an area with lots of fields butting up to the Monongahela National Forest where we often go deer viewing before sunset. However, this time, as dusk approached, a different critter appeared in numbers. As the fields darkened, thousands of fireflies began twinkling, from down low in the grass to up in the tops of the trees. It was…

One evening while visiting family, the sunset was shaping up to be interesting. I grabbed the camera to do some landscape photography of the beach sunset in Venice, Florida. The sky was fairly cloudy, and as the sun set, it gave the clouds some nice color. After the sun dipped below the horizon, though, the sunset kept getting better. Although already set, the sun was still lighting the clouds in the west and we got a very vibrant, colorful sky and reflection off of the water. It became one of those amazing sunsets that only come around every once in…

Landscape photography of a dragonfly at sunset over Lake Jackson in Tallahassee, shot with an iPhone.

This particular evening I was scouting at Lake Jackson in Tallahassee, Florida. I had been to this particular spot before but I really didn’t think it would be ideal for this shoot. I was wrong. This spot had water that was the right depth, it had some nice vegetation to work with, and best of all, it had a great view of sunset. In fact, the sunset was so amazing…
